Khameer is a type of fried bread which is prepared with flour , yeast and coconut milk. Its very tasty and unique type of bread. This bread is finally garnished with some sesame seeds which make it attractive. Now lets see how to prepare this tasty bread.

  • 3/4 Kg All purpose flour
  • 2 Cup Thick coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp Melted butter
  • 2 Tsp Yeast
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Sugar
  • 3 Egg

For topping

  • 1 Egg
  • Sesame seed
  • Oil For frying


  • In a bowl add all purpose flour, coconut milk, yeast, eggs, melted butter, salt and sugar. Mix them well to a bread dough. Let it rest for an hour for doubling.
  • After the dough doubled. Take it and make small balls.
  • Roll it with a rolling pin, with half millimeter thickness.
  • Brush the top of bread with egg and sprinkle sesame seed on top.
  • Deep fry these bread in oil. Tasty khameer are ready to serve.


  • The dough is prepared like a bread dough. If needed can add more coconut milk.
