Mini stuffed shawarma : Khuboos is also known as arabic bread, Lebanese bread or Syrianbread.

Khuboos is an arabic word which means bread. We can have khuboos by using mayonnaise or hummus.

Shawarma is one of the most popular street food in middle east, egypt.. shawarma is filled with chopped meat, french fries,salad and mayonnaise.

Shawarma is prepared from thin cuts of seasoned marinated lamb, mutton, beef, chicken, or turkey.I am using chicken in this recipe. Shawarma can also be made in various other model.

For dough

  • 3 Cups All purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Yeast
  • 1/2 Tsp Sugar

For fillings

  • 500 g Boneless chicken Fry with pepper powder and salt
  • 1 Cup Cabbage Finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Carrot Grated
  • 1/2 Cup Bell pepper Finely chopped
  • 1 Tsp Pepper powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 3 Tbsp Mayonnaise


  • In a bowl add all the ingredients for the dough and mix well. Kneed them well and keep it for doubling.
  • In another bowl add all the ingredients for fillings and mix well.
  • Take the dough and roll it with rolling pin into small circles with 5cm diameter.
  • On top of the rolled out dough put the fillings prepared.
  • Roll out another dough with same diameter and put on top of the fillings.
  • Press the edge of the dough to join both dough.
  • In a pan cook all the mini stuffed khuboos prepared. Turn in over and cook well. Mini stuffed shawarma is ready.
