Pepper chicken is one of the indo Chinese fusion food item. It is one of the popular dish in Indian restaurant. It can be served with rice or roti item. Here I prepared this curry item in oven. Oven preparation is one of the simplest way of cooking. No constant stirring, and less chance of burn out of dishes. Now lets see how to prepare this tasty curry item.

  • 500 g Chicken
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Inch Ginger Finely chopped
  • 6 Cloves Garlic Finely chopped
  • 3-4 Nos Green chilli
  • 1 Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Pepper powder
  • 3/4 Tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp Corn flour
  • 1/4 Cup Coriander leaves Finely chopped
  • Salt As required


  • In a bowl add oil, ginger, garlic, green chilli, onion, salt and chicken. Mix them all well and microwave it for 5 minutes.
  • To this add soy sauce, pepper powder, tomato sauce and vinegar. Mix them well and microwave it for 5 minutes.
  • Mix corn flour in water and add it to the pepper chicken. Microwave it for 2 minutes.
  • Finally add coriander leaves and microwave it for 3 minutes.


  • Can microwave it for another 3 minutes if chicken need to be cooked more.
