Prawn sticks are one of the easy fried item. It can be eaten as an appetizer. Prawns are one the common aquatic food item with thin shell outside and ten legs. Shrimps and prawns are almost the same. Prawns have branching gills, claws on 3 pairs in their legs and second pincers which can be larger than their the front ones. Additionally, prawns lack the wonderful bend in their our bodies that is seen with shrimp and every of their body segments overlaps the one behind it in succession. Shrimp, on the opposite hand, have lamellar (or plate-like) gills, and claws on two pairs of their legs. Their the front pincers are typically their largest. Additionally, shrimp have a wonderful bend in their our bodies and their 2nd segments overlap the first and 3rd segments. We can make alot of food items with prawns and shrimps. Now lets see how to prepare prawn sticks.
- 8-10 Prawns
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 Tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 Tsp Pepper powder
- Salt As required
- Oil For deep frying
- Coat the prawns with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pepper powder and salt.
- Skewer all the prawns in bamboo skewers.
- In a pan add some oil. Deep fry all the skewered prawns.
