Rasgulla birds nest is one of the tasty and easy dessert item. It is a combination of indian and arabic dessert item. Vermicelli is made in shape of a nest and rasgulla is placed in it . So it look like eggs in nest. Rasgulla is an Indian syrupy dessert item. It is made with ball shaped dumpling. These dumplings are made with ‘chenna’ which is a type of cottage cheese. Rasgulla can also be prepared with semolina dough. It varies according to the region. These dumplings are cooked in syrup of sugar. These are cooked until the ball get doubled. It is getting doubled due to the syrup permeates the rasgulla balls. Now lets see how to prepare rasgulla birds nest.

For rasgulla

  • 500 ml Milk
  • 1 Tsp White vinegar
  • 2 Tsp Corn flour
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Water

For nest

  • 50 g Butter
  • 200 g Vermicelli
  • 1/2 Cup Condensed milk


  • In a pan add milk and bring to boil. To this add vinegar and stir well. Turn off the flame.
  • Strain out the chenna in a thin cloth. Press add strain out the water completely.
  • To this chenna add corn flour. Mix it well and kneed it for 5 minutes or till soft.
  • Make these chenna to small balls.
  • In a pan add sugar and water to make sugar syrup. Add the chenna to the syrup.
  • Cook the chenna in sugar syrup for 5 minutes.
  • In a pan add butter and vermicelli. Roast it for a minute.
  • To this add condensed milk and mix well.
  • In a small bowl add the sticky vermicelli and shape it to form a nest.
  • In these nest prepared put the rasgulla balls.


  • Roast and cook the vermicelli in low flame.
  • kneed the chenna well so as to get soft texture.
