Chilli bajji

Bajjis are one of traditional snack item. Chilli bajjis are available in all street restaurants in Inida. Chilli bajjis have really tasty and unique fillings. The dips used are also really tasty. We can make any type of filling for the chilli bajji.

Ingredients
Bajji batter
- 5-10 Bajji chilli
- 1/2 Cup Gram flour
- 1 Tbsp Rice flour
- 1 Tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- Water As required
Bajji filling
- 1/2 Cup Carrot Grated
- 1/2 Cup Onion Finely chopped
- 1 Cup Potato Thinely chopped
- 1 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 Tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 Tsp Oil
- Salt As required
- 1/4 Tsp Garam masala powder
- Oil For frying

Instructions
- In a pan add some oil, put onion and saute well.
- To this add grated carrot, and potato. Saute well.
- Add turmeric powder, salt , ginger garlic paste and garam masala powder. Mix it all well
- Cover and cook it in low flame for the 2 minutes
- Saute it well. If needed cook more time.
- Slightly cut one side of chilli and remove the seeds
- Fill the chilli with the masala prepared
- In a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, salt , red chilli powder, and water, to make the batter.
- Dip the masala filled chillies into the batter and deep fry it in the oil.
