Hyderabadi biriyani is a style of biriyani from hyderabad. It is usually cooked with goat meat. Chicken can also be used for making hyderabad biriyani. The taste is really unique and different from other biriyani.

Instructions
  1. In a bowl add all ingredients for chicken marination, mix well. Marinate the chicken for an hour.
  2. In a bowl add basmati rice wash and soak it for 2 minutes.
  3. In a pot add some oil and ghee. To this add all the spices and onion and slightly saute it. To this add water and bring to boil
  4. To this add rice cover and cook it. Check the rice in between whether it is cooked. Stir it well from top to bottom.
  5. In a pressure cooker add some oil, to this add onion and gram masala powder and saute well. To this add the marinated chicken and cook it till whistle one time.
  6. In a pot add some oil and ghee. Spread it all over the pot.
  7. Put first layer of cooked rice to the pot.
  8. Put some chopped mint leaves, coriander leaves and garam masala powder.
  9. Put the cooked chicken masala as second layer.
  10. Then again put the rice as third layer, put leaves and garam masala.
  11. In a bowl mix saffron and milk
  12. Pour this all over the top of layered rice.
  13. Cover and cook it in lowest flame for 10-15 minutes.
