Apple pie is a pie in which the main ingredient is apple. Turkish apple pie have unique shape. It is different from other apple pie. There are different style of apple pie like english style, dutch style, french style, swedish style. Each style of pie is different from each other.

Instructions
  1. In a bowl add all ingredients for the dough. Mix it all well. Kneed well. Cover and let it rest for an hour.
  2. In a pan add some butter, when it starts melting add sugar and honey. Mix it well.
  3. To this add grated apple and mix well. Saute it till water absorbs completely.
  4. To this add cinnamon powder and mix well. Cook for a minute.
  5. Turn off the flame and let it cool.
  6. Take some portion of dough and roll it with rolling pin into circle.
  7. Cut a side to the centre of the rolled dough
  8. Put some apple fillings in triangle shape from centre to the bottom.
  9. From the cut roll it to the next cut.
  10. Press the bottom well and stick it.
  11. Place the filled dough like a tomb/ pyramid in a baking tray.
  12. Brush some egg yolk for glazing.
  13. Preheat the oven 220℃. Place the pie for 5-10 minutes or till light golden color.
