First layer

  • 3 Egg
  • 1/4 Cup Condensed milk
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar

Second layer

  • 3 Egg
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla essence
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable oil
  • 1.5 Cup All purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 2 Tsp Baking powder
  • A Pinch Salt

For caramalising

  • 3/4 Cup Sugar


  • In a pan add sugar for caramelising. Stir well continuously, when it turns light golden brown colour. Turn off the flame. Pour it to a pudding tray.
  • In a blender add eggs, condensed milk, vanilla essence, milk and sugar. Blend it all well.
  • Pour this on top of the caramel .
  • In a bowl add egg, vanilla essence, sugar, milk, and vegetable oil. Beat them with electric beater.
  • Mix all the other dry ingredients, all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
  • Add this to the beaten mix and then beat it again with electric beater to mix it all well.
  • Pour this on top of the custard layer.
  • In a tray pour some water and put this chocoflan tray on top of it.
  • Preheat the oven 180℃ . Keep the chocoflan to bake for 40-45 minutes.
